FRANK GALGANO
Frank Galgano is a theatrical producer, director, and creative architect who builds musical worlds with purpose, wit, and detail. A true multi-hyphenate, Frank combines over 35 years of industry experience with a relentless drive to tell stories that matter. As co-founder of Brainstorm Live Entertainment, he is currently spearheading the development of new works for the commercial stage, including the upcoming Off-Broadway production of The Fitzgeralds of St. Paul and the Broadway-bound Madame Clicquot: A Revolutionary Musical.
At his core, Frank is an "idea engine"—a collaborator who thrives on connecting dots, people, and projects. Whether he is producing, directing, writing, or designing soundscapes, his mission remains the same: to elevate the storytelling and empower the artists around him.
A dynamic presence both on stage and behind the scenes, Frank brings a director’s eye and a performer’s instinct to every project he touches. His expertise spans musical dramaturgy, conducting, and performance, ensuring that every note serves the dramatic arc. His orchestrations and arrangements have been heard in nearly a dozen Off-Broadway shows, including Scotland, PA (Roundabout), Found (Atlantic), and Into the Woods (Fiasco/Roundabout), as well as major national tours like The Elf on the Shelf and American Girl Live!. His regional footprint spans the country, from The Double-Threat Trio at Pittsburgh CLO to String at Village Theatre.
A significant portion of Frank’s creative output stems from his partnership with his husband, Matt Castle. As a duo, Galgano & Castle (or Fratthew) are a powerhouse music team, having collaborated on award-winning adaptations for Disney Cruise Line (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) and the fan-favorite revue Disney Seas the Adventure. Most recently, they wrote original music for the new stage show Duffy and the Friend Ship aboard the Disney Adventure. Together, they have crafted arrangements for icons like Carole King, Cynthia Erivo, Randy Newman, and Kristin Chenoweth. They also co-founded Brainstorm Records in 2022 to champion artists and material they believe in.
Frank invites fellow visionaries, investors, and creators to join him in building the next generation of musical theater.
